Our Nation

Pray for the 652 MPs (Members of Parliament) in the UK that God will touch them by His Spirit – Acts 2:17-18
Pray for the Queen, remembering her position as ‘Defender of the Faith’ – Prov 21:1, Jonah 3:6
Pray for the church to turn to Jesus! 2 Chronicles 7:14
Pray for the Nation to turn to Jesus! – Luke 15:17-18
Pray for a spirit of Repentance to break out in the church & the Nation- Jonah 3:10
Pray for the law of the land and those enforce it and Christians involved
Pray for the educational system and Christians involved
Pray for media and the arts and Christians involved
Pray for the NHS and Christians involved
Pray for young evangelists and Christian youth workers to reach gangs and young men & women – Acts 8:4-8
Pray for God’s love to overcome violence, crime and terrorism – Matt 18:18
Pray for wisdom for politicians and the church in their dealings with those of non-Christian religions and extremism - 2 Corinthians 10:4

Pray that “Lakeland” would come to Lakeside!
Pray for ex-churchgoers in London & THURROCK to be drawn back to Jesus - Isaiah 2:3
Give thanks for the election of Mayor BORIS JOHNSON and pray for him, the office of Mayor and for those working in local government – Matthew 8:5 (Boris turned up at the Global Day of Prayer and allowed 20,000 people to pray for him!)
