Ngage Festive Fun Night, Monday 8th December 2008

4.00pm to 8.00pm, The Civic Hall, Blackshots Lane, Grays

santaOnce again we are holding the Festive Fun Night to recognise the excellent work of the Voluntary/Community and Faith Sector across Thurrock (and support Community Cohesion by bringing together people from different backgrounds).

This event is free to the public. Father Christmas has promised to drop in with free gifts for the children. There will also be a face painter , seasonal craft activities, AJ (children’s entertainer), a Steel Band, free refreshments and raffle.

drummersWe would like to invite your organisation/group to come along and have an exhibition/display stand (and if you wish to raise funds for your group). Whilst the children are being kept entertained, the adults have an opportunity to browse the displays and information stands and find out more about what’s going on in the local community.

Last year’s event attracted over 300 people throughout the evening and we are hoping for even more this year. We hope the Royal Opera House will want to be a part of the evening, either by having a display stand or in some other way. We have also invited the partner agencies including the police, council and health authority to come and take part.

civic2Please contact us on 01375 389893 or email info@ngagethurrock.org.uk by the end of October if you wish to take part. We will then send you more details nearer the date. We look forward to seeing you there.

Yours sincerely,

Wendy Mayo, Jacqui Payne and Debbie Buck
