Thurrock Day Of Prayer - 24 October 2009
We are please to announce "TDOP" - the Thurrock Day Of Prayer.
 This was one of the initial aspects of Transformation Thurrock to which we were committed. We have taken the step of faith and booked Hassenbrook School in Stanford-le-Hope for the event. We have asked Jonathan Oloyede of Global Day Of Prayer London and 'God's Troubadour' Godfrey Birtill to lead sessions.
It's also our intention to invite some of the borough's church leaders, civic dignitaries from local government, the emergency services and other walks of life, so we, the people of God, can pray with them. We are looking at a format of having an afternoon and evening session.
We hope also to have displays about the work of cross-denominational ministries represented across Thurrock.
We hope that whatever your tradition, whatever your cultural background, whatever your country of birth, whatever your age, whatever your ministry in your church, you will come along and together we will make this the biggest event of its kind in Thurrock's recent history - and declare together that Jesus is Lord of this 'place where filthy water collects'!
TDOP will be on Saturday 24 October 2009 @ Hassenbrook School. More details to follow.
