Bar'N'Bus Fundraising Quiz Night for the Thurrock teams

barnbusquizBar'N'Bus currently has three teams of volunteers going out to three different locations around Thurrock on three different nights of the week. Young people across the borough are being reached with the love of Jesus through this unique mission.

The newest team - made up from folks from TCF Grays and Grays Baptist Church - go out on Tuesday evenings and park at Grays Beach car park. In the 3 months since start-up they've established themselves as a permanent fixture with quite a few 'regulars'. On Wednesday nights, the West Thurrock team - made up by volunteers from St Clement's and West Thurrock Chapel - has not missed a single night in the 18 months since they began. And on Thursdays the Corringham team of folk from TCF and the Baptists are just getting back 'on the road' after taking the summer off. The new Transit (based at the Baptist Manse) team have arrived and will be helping out throughout the coming year.

Young people are being communicated with, are having their self-esteem raised, are receiving prayer - all on Thurrock's very own 'Jesus Bus'!

So Thurrock's Bar'N'Bus is worth supporting! It costs just under £100 a night to take the bus out - which isn't cheap! All the participating churches put money into the pot, along with other donations. And there's the annual Curry Night in February! But we know you'd really like to support Bar'N'Bus loads more!

... especially since we need to raise funds to buy a new Thurrock bus. The current bus will need replacing in not too distant future.

Last year we held a very successful Quiz Night and so on the back of that we're doing it again... Here's the details:
