Prayer

250px-WoolwichFerryNorthTerminIntercessors from the Thurrock area and beyond will be joining with the Thames Gateway Prayernet to pray across the Thames on the Woolwich Ferry - and under the river in the Woolwich foot tunnel - this Saturday, 30 January.

Throughout 2009, the Thames Gateway Prayernet (TGP) undertook a number of 'prayer actions' at specific spots along the river. This process is set to continue through 2010.

Folk from the north of the river and the south will join together on the south side at 10.30am, and then take the ferry and walk the foot tunnel. It's hoped that contacts in the areas both sides of the river will bring other contacts along.

300px-WoolwichFerrymapsvgIf you plan on coming to Woolwich, we have to leave Thurrock at around 9.30am to ensure we get to the ferry, park up, and get to the other side to meet with the folk from south of the river. See the map (right) for directions. (The A13 is just to the north of the area covered by the map.)

If you're going to drive and have spaces in your car, please contact Tim Harrold on tim@transformationthurrock.com. (He needs a lift!)
