West Thurrock Chapel is the brightest!

Bible SocietyBible Society Quiz Night

The Bible Society held its annual quiz night this year on Saturday 31st January at the United Reformed Church, Grays.

180 people made up 22 teams from churches all over the borough who enjoyed the evening of questions and fish or chicken and chips supper.

The winning team for 2010 was West Thurrock Chapel

David Bareham, the Bible Society Thurrock Action Group Chairman, said “It was a really enjoyable evening of fellowship. We raised £576.50 for the work of the Bible Society and had fun whilst doing it!”

The Thurrock Action Group of the Bible Society organises events throughout the year to raise awareness of the work of the Bible Society and to raise funds for that work.

If you are interested in getting involved please contact David Bareham at david.bareham@chcc.org.uk or telephone 01375 484101.
