 Lisa Anderson of the Stanford & Corringham Boiler Room Community, based at 217 Southend Road, Stanford-le-Hope (pictured right), has let Transformation Thurrock know of their up and coming 24-6 prayer week starting on Monday 1 March.
The prayer house will be open continuously from midnight on Sunday/Monday night until midnight the following Saturday - that's 144 hours of constant prayer!
Three prayer rooms have been made available to use at the secluded house, a kind of 'urban monastery' for the 3rd millennium.
The main themes for the week are:
- politics
- schools
- Global Poverty
Included in the week, on Tuesday evening (2 March), all are invited to a creative worship evening, beginning at 7.30pm.
