Grays Baptists kick off 125th anniversary year with Songs of Praise & Testimony evening

All friends and churches are invited to our Songs of Praise & Testimony evening at Grays Baptist Church, Orsett Road RM17 5HH on Sunday 14th March, 6.30pm onwards.
 Refreshments will be served.
During this year we are celebrating our 125th Anniversary and want to use every opportunity share that with the wider community.
We invite you to contact Colin Baker if you would like to come and share your favourite song or hymn and to speak briefly as to why it means so much to you. After you have shared we can then all join together in worshipping God with your chosen piece. To help our musicians and the rest of the gathering it is preferable that it is a Christian song or well known hymn. We shall probably sing quite a bit, so there will be a break for refreshments and fellowship midway through!

We have deliberately aimed this to a Sunday evening slot recognising that not many churches have a Sunday evening meeting. This will be simply an evening of testimony and worship... no long preaches! We shall however be taking an offering which will go towards our chosen charities this year: St Luke's Hospice (Registered charity number 289466) and Little Havens Children's Hospice (Registered charity number 1022119).
