Unique offer to Thurrock to attend the Bringing Hope Domestic Abuse Conference
From Natalie Collins at Faith & Freedom
Hi All,
For those of you who may have heard, or been to any of the FREEDOM PROGRAMME events, this is the Faith arm of the Freedom Programme which is addressing Domestic Violence issues in the Faith Community.
The conference is being organised by Faith & Freedom which started in Thurrock with a small pot of funding from Thurrock Council and is run by Natalie Collins. Natalie is also the facilitator for the Thurrock Freedom Programme operating across one of the six children's centres in Thurrock.
She set up a charity for this work after being restored from a severely abusive relationship herself and is empowering faith based organizations across Essex, Thurrock and Basildon to know how to deal with issues of domestic violence in their organizations and community.
If you are involved in any partnership work involving children, young people and families in the area of safeguarding children and vulnerable adults, this conference is for you.
