TT Prayer: rising from the brook to the sea
The next Transformation Thurrock Prayer gathering will take place on Saturday 25 September at Seabrooke Rise Community House.
This is a first for TTP since it began two years ago. Up until now it has always taken place in church buildings across Thurrock, or in either of the borough's two prayer houses. But this marks a departure from the norm as TTP embarks on an adventure into the unknown - the very hubs of community around us that are not 'church'.
It's like we've just been tip-toeing in the brook where God's will rises, but now we're heading out towards the sea, up to our shins, up to our waists, finally taking our feet off the ocean floor, and swimming for the depths where deep calls to deep.
As readers will know, the Grays Riverside Bar'N'Bus team have become very active in the Seabrooke Rise area and have been working closely with the Community House, mutually supporting each other on a number of projects to date. Taking TTP to the House is simply another aspect to that, as well as getting another opportunity for prayer into the community. (This picture was taken at the recent event at the Community House which Bar'N'Bus attended.)
Transformation Thurrock hopes to take prayer into other hitherto untapped community hubs throughout the borough, so watch this space - and join in! The TTP is open anyone with a heart for worship and intercession, our community and our borough.
Please note: start time 8am! We have to be out of the building at 10am when the next booking starts.
