Grays Has Talent!
 Grays Baptist Church are holding a Talent Contest as part of their ongoing 125th Anniversary celebrations.
The event is called Grays Has Talent, and is being held at 7.00pm on Saturday 25 September in church's hall in Hathaway Road.
Open to all-comers, you're invited along to sing, dance, play an instrument, act, tell jokes - or whatever. It's promising to be an evening of lighthearted fun and no doubt a few surprises.
Do you have the illusive X-Factor? Could you be the next Diversity, Spellbound - or even Susan Boyle?
You'll only find out by entering. To do this please contact GBC's very own Simon Cowell, the multi-talented Gareth Marsh, for an entry form.

Grays Baptist Church invite the people of Thurrock to our 'Grays Has Talent Evening' at 7pm on Saturday 25th September.
Tickets are available in advance by calling 01375 404920 at a cost of just £2.00! Although entrance on the evening is also possible by paying at the door.
 This will be a fun evening with a good range of varying talents. So far we have 7 acts with a couple of guest acts. Once again all the proceeds from the evening will be going to St Luke's Hospice and Little Havens Hospice (our 2 local hospices). Many of us may have come into contact with these wonderful hospices at some  point and will value the work they do. By way of celebrating our 125th year as a church in Grays we want to give something back to these important charities. So far we have raised over £1600.
