Ethical Fashion Show just is about justice
New Zealander Alisa Jeffrey is one of the Stanford & Corringham Boiler Room Community.
One of the Boiler Room's six core values is Justice - and this has inspired Alisa to come up with the idea of an Ethical Fashion Show.
"Come and see some great Fairtrade cotton clothes and creative second hand outfits at our superb Fashion Show produced by the Boiler Room Community!" says Alisa.
Simeon Bayton adds to this, "The idea is to raise awareness, rather than to sell clothing."
Robb & Sally Harman of the Boiler Room Community say that "all proceeds are going to Stop the Traffick - take a look at www.stopthetraffik.org."
The event is taking place on Saturday 6 November at 7.30pm in Thurrock Christian Fellowship's Main Hall in their Corringham Centre in Giffords Cross Road.
Tickets from £3.00 to £5.00 and are available from http://www.thurrockcf.org.uk/church-life/courses-and-support/sign-up/ethical-fashion-show.php.
