Bible Society Quiz won by West Thurrock Chapel

The annual interchurch quiz was held at Grays United Reformed Church on Saturday 29 January.
The quiz is a regular fixture in the local church calender and is organised by the Bible Society's local branch.
Over 150 people from ten different churches competed for the Sid Thomas Trophy. Sid was an elder at Grays Pentecostal Church for many years up to the 1990s, in the days when GPC used to meet in Bridge Road.
The winners this year were the team from West Thurrock Chapel.
In second place was Grays Salvation Army and in third and fourth places were teams from Socketts Heath Baptist Church.
The quiz is arranged by the Thurrock Action Group of Bible Society and £390 was raised from the quiz for Bible Society work.
