Little Thurrock Labyrinth
A new labyrinth is being set up in the ancient Parish Church of St Mary’s in Dock Road, Little Thurrock.
Called From Calvary to Pentecost, the labyrinth is described as a journey through the Resurrection, and will run from 16 to 22 May.
Rev Christine Williams told Transformation Thurrock, "The Labyrinth is a new development which we have developed ourselves to investigate different features of the resurrection. I have been thrilled at how the congregation have taken up the challenge.
"Each 'station' has something for adults to meditate on and something for children to do. We have also been delighted that Thameside Junior are arranging for all their children to come to the church to see it". Christine added, "We are publishing opening times but please note that we would be happy to open at other times for groups to visit. Home groups or youth clubs might be interested in arranging an evening".
The details are as follows:
- Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday10.00am-4.00pm
- Tuesday and Thursday 2.00-4.00pm
(other times by appointment)
