FM419 just 1 day to go - have your youth registered?

FM419? What does that mean?!!

Thurrock's young people have just ONE DAY to wait to find out - but they MUST REGISTER TODAY (Thurs. 8 Sept.).

Read Matthew 4:19 - Jesus says those ever-so-simple but world-changing words, "FOLLOW ME!"

FM419 is the next stage of the Rock Thurrock project to be rolled out - an evening and a day of fast-moving, visual, loud, interactive training for the young people of Thurrock's churches being held at Grays United Reformed Church on Friday 9 (6.30-9.30pm) and Saturday 10 September (9am-5pm).

Think of FM419 as a Christian Life and Witness Course but for youth - MUCH quicker-paced, MUCH deafeningly-noisier, and MUCH more action-packed...

... but with the same life-challenge and thought-provoking impact of what the gospel of Jesus Christ means to each of us, and why we should be telling it to others.

FM419 is just 1 day away - so register your young people for this FREE event NOW! Just as the adults of the church of Thurrock have been mobilised, now it's time to mobiise the young people.

Rock Thurrock FM419 - the countdown has started

September is now upon us and this means that the real-time countdown to all things Rock Thurrock has started.

On Friday 9th and Saturday 10th September the FM419 training takes place. The Core Team and the BGEA had a dream to see 200 young people participate in this training, to be equipped as disciples of Jesus, motivated and inspired to tell their friends about Him.

Final preparations are now taking place to ensure that the FM419 runs smoothly, course books have been delivered, the catering team has been booked, the band has been booked, accommodation has been arranged, etc.

I am pleased to tell you that there is no charge for this training, and that the material is based on the hugely successful BGEA Christian Life and Witness Course, which you may have attended in June.

We are now at a crucial point in preparations for Rock Thurrock. I would like to ask you to promote FM419 at your church this Sunday, ask a church leader or youth leader to collect names of young people intending to attend the course, and to send those names through to the BGEA office. Please either email us or call the office on 0208 8559 0342 with details.

Flyers to promote FM419 have been available at every Rock Thurrock event, and been posted to all Thurrock churches.

Please do understand the urgency of this email, we need churches to pick up the baton of Rock Thurrock and to be a living and breathing part of the vision to reach young people for Christ.
