All invited to African Evening, Christmas Cafe & Quiz

African Evening
We are holding an African Evening on Saturday 19 November from 6pm to 9pm in the church hall (in Hathaway Road).

It had been arranged by some of the African ladies in the fellowship. There will be displays covering many aspects of African culture including music and food from several African countries.

The cost is £5 a ticket - this will include food. Please contact John Burt on 07710 368698 or e-mail to johnhburt@blueyonder.co.uk. It would help to know numbers coming in advance. Please see flyer below for more info.

All monies raised will go to the church interior redecoration fund.

Grays Baptist Church will also be holding two Christmas events on Saturday 3 December.


Christmas Cafe
Between 10am and 2pm we will be hosting a "Christmas Cafe" in the church. Refreshments to include cake, home made soup and baked potatoes. Hand made Christmas cards and gifts will be on sale and there will be children's activities. 

36 GBCQuiz Night
At 7pm there will be a Quiz Night also in the church. Teams of a maximum of 8  at a cost of £8 per person. The price includes a fish / chicken / vegetrian and chips meal.
