Transformation Thurrock represented at Network of Networks

On Thursday 1 December, Tim Harrold joined with ten other London Borough network facilitators to discuss the setting up of a Network of Networks across the Greater London / M25 area.

They met at the Metropolitan Police communications centre in Lambeth Road, London. London Boroughs - and network names where they exist - represented were:
  • Across Havering
  • Barking & Dagenham
  • Bromley
  • Croydon Churches Forum
  • Ealing
  • Merton
  • Pray Harangay
  • Transform Newham
  • Transform Southwark
  • Transformation Thurrock
Also in attendance was Steve Clifford from the Evangelical Alliance. The meeting was convened by Matt Bird, who represented Merton.

Friends of Transformation Thurrock present were Peter Watherston from Transform Newham and Gary Seithel from Across Havering.

After introductions there was an open discussion, which was followed by a time of prayer. From the office where the meeting was being held, Lambeth Palace, Parliament, Westminster Abbey and Scotland Yard could be seen, all providing much intercessory fodder.

Matt finished by saying, "The kingdom of heaven is like a net". Our interconnectedness is our strength and the means through which God can work across our capital, and therefore affect our nation in Jesus' name.

The next Network of Networks gathering is on 18 January. On 22-24 February, there is a national networks' conference at Swanwick, at which it is hoped Transformation Thurrock will be represented.

Logo for printAs Transformation Thurrock enters its fourth year, it's time to transform. A lot of time is spent in making this website happen, along with the facilitation of various activities, meetings and so on. Transformation Thurrock not only serves the borough but is active in wider regional and national projects, all of which are documented on this website. No one is earning a living from this. The financial support of churches is minimal and depends heavily upon the support of a few generous individuals. But this cannot go on.

Tim, you are a hero.
All this sounds brilliant.
I hope that you get a bit more & straw with which to make bricks.

Please read this church of Thurrock. Tim and I will soon be circulating ways in which you can support this work.

If it was about money Tim, you would have been a long time broke! Shamefully, few understand the genius of Gods glue that has been holding and facilitating on behalf of Thurrock for years. God Bless You Mr Harrold.
