Prayer

Thursday is Fast Day for Thurrock

For the past few years, at the insitution of Colin Baker of Grays Baptist Church, the first gathering of the Grays Leaders' Prayer in the New Year has been designated a day of fasting for the borough.

This has taken place in a number of locations, including the Old Rectory in North Ockendon; the Old Tennis Court in Grays; and the Rectory in North Stifford.

This year, the GLP Fast Day is combining with the Thurrock Leaders' Network Day and will take place at the Corringham Safety Centre behind the Fire Station on the Fobbing Road.

If you are in any kind of church leadership or intercessory ministry, you are welcome to attend.

It is intended for there to be:
  • worship
  • ministry for ministers
  • prayer for Thurrock in 2012
  • visual aids
  • breaking of bread
