Arise & Shine with Torch Route Prayer Walk
 Saturday 3 March: Following what maybe the route of the Olympic Torch when it comes to Grays on 6 July.
Starting at The Oaks pub on Lodge Lane at 10am, the group will walk along to Southend Road, then down Palmers Avenue and Orsett Road to Grays Baptist Church for coffee.
Then the walk will continue through the town and along London Road to the bottom of Elizabeth Road, and up to the Treacle Mine pub.
The purpose of the prayer walk is to Prepare the way, clear the air, heal the land, and bless the community.
"Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord rises upon you..." (Isaiah 60:1 NIV)
