Please find below a poster for a united church event we are hosting at St Stephen’s Church in Purfleet on Sunday 29 January starting at 6pm.
St Stephen’s is part of the Mardkye team of churches in the Church of England’s Diocese of Chelmsford.
It was originally targeted at churches in and around Purfleet; we invited representatives from each church to send us their favourite song / hymn so that everyone could worship together. We also suggested that they share a favourite bible verse if they liked.
Now, we would also like to extend the invitation to any Christian who would like to attend. They do not have to represent a particular church – the main aim is for us to live out the theme that we all baptised into the Body of Christ by one Spirit.
