30 March 2016

It gives me great pleasure to announce that Christians Against Poverty (CAP) is launching a CAP Release Group in Thurrock, an exciting new service to support people who want to stop habits such as smoking, drinking, gambling or internet addictions.

Christians Against Poverty is an award wining charity with over 18 years experience tackling poverty and its causes. Across the UK we have 260 centres providing debt counselling, over 80 CAP Job Clubs helping people step into employment and a money education course that was attended by over 10,000 people last year. This new service offers supportive communities where people meet regularly and work through a course, inspired by the principles of the Twelve Steps that is designed to help them break free from these dependencies.

It is my privilege to personally invite you to an awareness event 7.30pm, on 29 April 2016 at the above address which will give you the opportunity to find out more about the work of CAP that is available to your contacts in the Thurrock area. CAP has the potential to be instrumental in helping your friends and people in your community to break free from these life controlling habits, which can cause financial and relational poverty.

I very much hope to see you on the evening.it will last about an hour, with tea and coffee.

Please RSVP by emailing me on the email or phone number below.  Should you be unable to make it, you are more than welcome to invite a colleague to attend on your behalf.

Kind Regards

Steve
