What is God saying to you and to the church and to the borough?
Implode or Explode
Isaiah 43:18-19
Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past.
See, I am doing a new thing!
Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?
I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.
We are in a time where the ‘new’ has becoming a ‘bigger new’ than we could ever have imagined in days past. So many things are changing in the world: politically, financially, medical advances and so on. Particularly in the church things are changing – some even are disappearing and others are emerging.
I heard the Lord ask, ‘Implosion or explosion – where is your life today?’
Implode means ‘to burst, or cause to burst, inwards’
Explode means ‘to expand suddenly with a loud noise owing to a release of internal energy’
Are there things in your life which are imploding – producing no fruit and coming to an end? These are the ‘former things’. Seek the Holy Spirit and ask what the ‘new things’ are which He is waiting to explode into your life: new blessings, new relationships and new opportunities.
Open Space
Walk Into Your Open Space
As we have now stepped over the threshold into this New Year, know that everything will again be new and full of hope, opportunity, New Year Resolutions and a new determination.
When I awoke this morning, I heard the Lord say, “Walk into an Open Space”
There is an open space that God has prepared for you to walk into at the beginning of this year, one that brings with it lots of opportunities – new and restored – and new beginnings.
What is this “Open Space” for you?
- It can be a ‘Forgiven Space.’
- It can be a ‘Free Space.’
- It Can be a ‘Pure Space.’
- It can be a ‘Healed Space.’
- It can be a ‘Fruitful Space’.
- It can be a ‘Fulfilled Space’
- It maybe something you have been longing years for
In this New Year, there is an Open Space waiting for you where your God-given call can operate.
Revelation 3:8
I know your deeds.
See, I have placed before you an open door that no one can shut.
I know that you have little strength, yet you have kept my word and have not denied my name.
