from Pastor Akin Laosun at Gates of Praise International Centre Gates of Praise International in partnership with Dayspring Chapel and Christ City Church hosted a free “Relationship Summit” event on Saturday 4 May 2013.
The event had a formal black-tie dress code with a programme that included live music performances from the GOPIC Choir, ice-breaker games, Q&A session and presentations by the guest speaker. Apostle Alfred T B Williams of Christ Faith Tabernacle International Churches, an internationally renowned speaker, shared inspirational tips and encouraged everyone in attendance on the importance of forming and maintaining effective relationships. The event was very successful with over 120 men and women in attendance. Positive feedback was received by the organisers from participants on the day which included comments such as, “Very useful lecture; very interesting presenters and presentation style littered with humorous anecdotes; location – good venue very comfortable”, and, “Well organised, good decoration, powerful word. I suggest this should be a yearly event.” The positive feedback received has been taken on board and been quite encouraging to the extent the event organisers hope to work in partnership to facilitate the event next year.
