The Big Lunch is a vision to see street parties take place right across the United Kingdom during the long weekend HM The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Celebrations.
The main day of the Big Lunch is set as being Sunday 3 June (also the day of the Royal Regatta up the Thames).
Special FREE packs are available from http://www.thebiglunch.com/.
Rob Groves, Community Evangelist in the Stanford and Corringham area, is also going to put on a workshop entitled “How to put on a Street Party” for churches and individuals who want to take the opportunity to knit unity in their community. One was held recently in Corringham to which over 20 people from across the borough came.
