The Glory

At theThurrock Leaders Prayer (TLP) meeting on Thursday morning (9 November), three of us got the same word about God’s Glory returning to the borough. The first part related to St Francis Centre (Linford, where the TLP was taking place), and both Kim Ford and I felt that the glory had filled the building and would stay.

When I got home and started to do various other things, I felt that there was more to it than just St Francis Centre, so I decided that I needed to get out to ponder the whole thing.

I went to Coalhouse Fort and sat there asking God what was going on, and it was following that that I started to get the picture of the word ICHABOD (1 Samuel 4:21 “The Glory has departed from Israel”) over Thurrock.

However, working around this name were workmen (not sure if they were angels), and they were dismantling the name letter by letter, and when I looked again, the ‘D’ was missing and was on the ground.

Next to the ‘D’ was a pile of other letters ready to be fitted, and I was shown a new name – SHEKINAH (‘Gods glory dwelling’). The workmen were waiting for the okay to start the installation.

My feeling was that God is cleansing Thurrock and that His Glory is coming back again, not as before, but with even more power.

Wake up

At the Watchmen night I felt God was saying its time for the church to wake up and start taking action.

Joel 3:9 (NKJV) says:
Proclaim this among the nations (Thurrock)
Prepare for war!
Wake up mighty men,
Let all the men of war draw near,
Let them come up.
