Thurrock Faith In Action posteThurrock Faith in Action

Faith Action Audit Celebration
Thursday 18 November 2015
Market Place 4pm
Presentations 7pm
Networking 8.30pm
Gateway Peoples Centre, 2 High Street, Stanford-le-Hope

Earlier in the year Andy Blakey facilitated the Cinnamon Network’s Thurrock Faith Action Audit across the faith communities in the borough. The conclusion was that the faith sector provides £1.5m worth of mostly voluntary work to Thurrock – and this is a conservative estimate. Thurrock was the only area in all of Essex to go through this process, so it is a pioneering borough and hopefully an inspiration to others around the county.
The Cinnamon Network are encouraging areas where the Faith Action Audits took place to celebrate their findings. This event, to be held at the Gateway Peoples’ Centre in Stanford-le-Hope, has been put together to do just that. For a run down of the format, please click on this link:
