On Thursday 25 April, Transformation Thurrock was represented at the London Network of Networks, a relational grouping that has emerged in recent months.

LNoNAlthough Thurrock is not a London borough, Tim Harrold has been invited along to these gatherings as it’s geographical area crosses the M25 at the Purfleet and Aveley end. (In the same way, Thurrock is also represented on More Than Gold’s London Borough Champions’ board.)

The London Network of Networks has been developed by Matt Bird from Wimbledon in the Borough of Merton. Matt Bird is the Managing Director of the Make It* Happen, a group of businesses delivering innovation, relationships and results for its clients. He is also the founder of a social science called Relationology – for more information, please see www.relationology.co.uk.

The borough networkers met at the Central Communication Command for the Metropolitan Police in Lambeth Road, just across from Lambeth Palace and within site of the Shard and Parliament. This is a huge concrete building, one of three hubs in the capital where emergency calls are taken and processed.

Tim is shown with those who were present, who include Rob Purnell of Pioneer and churches in Wickford & South Woodham Ferrers (2nd from left); Matt Bird (7th from left); Steve Clifford, General Director of Evangelical Alliance (9th from left); Tim Roberts of Watford (11th from left); and Peter Watherston, Chair of Transform Newham.
