WORLD DAY OF PRAYER Friday 4 March
Every year, on the first Friday in March the same service will be celebrated in about 120 countries around the world translated to the language of each country.
This year’s service has been prepared by Christian women of England, Wales and Northern Ireland.
The theme is “I know the plans I have for you”. We are looking at what it can feel like to be excluded.
This day will be celebrated in about 120 countries and in about 3000 locations in England, Wales and Northern Ireland.
Here in Grays we will have a service at 2 pm at St John’s Church, 8A, Victoria Ave, Grays RM16 2RP.
Everybody is welcome. Come and listen, take part , join in the singing and have some refreshments after the service.
