The 2014 TT Tour got underway last Sunday (16 February) at Fresh Hope Community who meet in Victoria Road Chapel in Stanford le Hope. FHC is the Fresh Expression of St Margarets’ Parish Church.photo 1

The gathering was led by Graham Marshall, with notices from Rev John Guest (right) and worship led by John Gorham. There was a very real sense of the Holy Spirit working among those who gathered in the former Evangelical and Peculiar People’s building. To emphasise this, at the start of his talk, Tim Harrold used the door of FHC’s prayer room as a fan to fan God’s presence into and over and through the room.

The talk was made up of three sections. following this simple structure:

  • Information – Powerpoint presentation
    • where we’ve been
    • where we’re at
    • where we’re going
  • FHC sheetInteraction – small groups
    • what is God saying?
    • what are you going to do about it?
    • who are you going to tell?
  • Intercession – for Thurrock and the UK
    • proclamations of blessing
    • prayers of protection

The response was positive and enthusiastic as people talked about their dreams and visions for the life of their fellowship and transformation of the community they are planted in, as the sheet shows. The challenge to everyone is to not leave it there, but to do something about it, spurring each other on to good deeds.
